Disclaimer:I really need to update this blog more regularly instead of waiting for a ton of things to happen. Then I end up spending twice as much time writing and posting pictures. :)
This week, my brother Andrew and older sister Jennifer came to visit. Andrew began a 5-week workshop at a place called Arcosanti, which is located north of Phoenix, at the Prescott Junction. I'm still not 100% sure what he will be studying there but you can go here to read up on it: www.arcosanti.org. He came a couple days early to spend some time with Kirk and I. Jennifer decided it was a good time to come down from Utah and visit too.
Saturday, we did the 2-mile fun run at
London's Run. Well, I can't say we
ran, it was more of a walk for us but none the less, it was fun. Melissa came with us as well. We even got scammed into getting a free spinal analysis afterwards! I had a really good time and was glad that my family got to come. We have never been a very active family so it was nice to share this experience with them.
Jennifer and I spent alot of time listening to musicals. We
LOVE musicals! I pretty much doubled my music collection while Jen was here. If anyone wants to have a musical movie night, let me know! When Andrew was here, we toured Tempe Town lake and even hiked up the "A" mountain in Tempe. All in all, it was a fabulous week! I am so grateful that they could come see me. Trixie enjoyed the company too!
